Cauliflower Shawarma

Cauliflower coated in Middle Eastern spices we all know and love.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 head of cauliflower cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a small bowl, combine the cumin, smoked paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, coriander, ginger, cardamom, salt and cayenne. Set aside
  • Add the cauliflower to a large bowl and pour oil on top. Add the spices to the cauliflower and toss well to coat.
  • Lay out the cauliflower on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Toss in the middle of cooking.
