Spicy White Bread Dip

Recipe Adapted From The Fertility Foods Cookbook

Servings 8 servings


  • 1 can 15 ounces white navy beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic peeled
  • 1 teaspoon fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. Place beans, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, mint leaves, crushed red pepper and salt in a food processor.
  2. Process for 2-3 minutes, then remove lid and scrape down sides of the bowl with a spatula.
  3. Pulse an additional minute, or until desired texture is reached.
